Since 2005, YouthInkwell Publishing has sought to inspire,
educate, and empower youth leaders to effect sustainable and ethical
change through creative expression. We have published the writing and
art of more than one-hundred fifty young people ranging from 3rd to
12th grades and inspired hundreds more to act on behalf of those
suffering in today’s global water crisis.
We have been overwhelmed with what students have gone on to do
after discovering YouthInkwell. Sixty-one first graders did a “walk
for water” to learn what is must feel like to be a girl in Ethiopia.
Sixty-two fifth graders drew pictures of what peace looks like to
them, made greeting cards, and then sold them to raise money for water
well projects. A high-school junior came into our office and
declared that she was going to write her own book – and she has. The
stories go on.
Have a YouthInkwell story of your own to share? We’d love to hear it.
